Job Description Summary:

Responsible for the onboarding and ongoing development of Operations team members by providing job specific education and training for Patient Registration Revenue Cycle Management team members, and Nursing. The Director, Operations Training maintains a cohesive relationship with Directors/Senior Directors of Operations, Strategic Operations leadership, Area Vice Presidents of Operations, and Clinical Services to maximize the effectiveness of the company’s infusion services. The director is also connected with Patient Registration, Nurse, and RCM Managers in order to stay abreast of process changes as well as understanding training needs and effectiveness.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

  • Develops vision, strategy and manages all aspects of the operations training for the Patient Registration, Revenue Cycle Management and Nursing functions.

  • Responsible for the design, development, and delivery of training for Patient Registration, Revenue Cycle Management and Nursing.

  • Monitors training deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy are aligned with all learning and development processes and standards.

  • Creates new content, redesigns existing content and/or updates training program(s) to meet the needs of the organization as it evolves.

  • Analyzes, measures and reports on operational training effectiveness.

  • Ensures learning interventions match the needs of the situation and are delivered through a variety of blended learning methods and making best use of technology.

  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships within the operations leadership, staying abreast of process and organizational changes that materially impact training.

  • Recruits, hires, trains staff, evaluates employee performance, and recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

  • Creates material and tools that are used for orientation and training of new Operations staff.

  • Coordinates annual-in-service program content and routinely updates content in the learning management system.

  • Supports New Drug Launches through training as it relates to the Nursing, Revenue Cycle and Patient Registration Processes.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years of Revenue Cycle Management or Patient Admissions experience OR 10 years of experience in Home Infusion Operations management, Revenue Cycle Management or Patient Admissions

  • 4 – 6 years of experience in training or learning and development

  • 6+ years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing team members.

Basic Qualifications & Interests (BQIs)

  • Experience with State and Federal reimbursement process and guidelines.

  • Proven project management and ability to shepherd multiple projects at once to the successful completion of specific goals and objectives.

  • Excellent change management skills and experience influencing outside of span of control in order to effectively enact change.

  • Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization and within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and training staff

  • Superior verbal and written communications skills

  • Responds quickly and effectively to changing environments.

  • Experience in identifying operational issues, recommending, and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

  • Experience accomplishing goals with little or no supervision

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Travel Requirements: (if required)

  • Willing to travel up to 25%-40% of the time for business purposes as needed (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience as a clinical manager, operations manager, or general manager in home infusion and/or health system with an infusion focus.

  • Experience driving change.

  • Knowledge of Profit and Loss Statement and budget process.

  • Experience in direct management of team members, including the development, training, and assignment of work/projects to other team members is preferred.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $139,536.79-$232,539.24
